What my generation says about diaspora

I read an interesting Youngblood article this morning in Philippine Daily Inquirer, about a young man’s thoughts on travelling, migration, and the demands of a travel-heavy work. That powerful line says it all, and I couldn’t agree more:

“I am still young. But I have gone through so many adventures already that sometimes I feel like stopping or at least taking a long break. But you just cannot quit. You just don’t, unless you have to. There are other things that I look forward to, like learning other languages, traveling to other far-flung places and experiencing more of life.”
