Last night was the kick start of OktoberFest 2010 of San Miguel, a beer maker. The venue is at the SM Mall of Asia open grounds, at the back of SMX. The organizers enclosed the whole vacant lot, put tables and chairs, lots and lots of beers, a huge stage, police and security.
It was a well-organized event, and the best Oktoberfest event so far. When we were there, it was just right time that The Dawn is about to perform. Nostalgia for the height of OPM bands during the 90s.
There are giant illuminated bottles of different beer variants from San Miguel Brewery. It overlooks the entire mosh pit. The concert was given with intermittent rainshowers, but that did not spoil the fun for those who went to see, eat, and drink (and more drink).
The entrance fee of P100 is already inclusive of free beers. And concert from some of the country’s good bands.
