Work Hard. Play Hard.

If you got nothing to do on a long break this Undas, try watching Davind Fincher’s “The Social Network.” This is an inspired adaptation of Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg. A strong contender for Best Picture come Oscars season.

Great acting chops from Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, and Andrew Garfield.

On Running.

“When I am out on a long run, the only thing in life that matters is finishing the run. For once, my brain isn’t going blehblehbleh all the time. Everything quiets down, and the only thing going on is pure flow. Its just me and the movement and the motion. That’s what I love—just being a barbarian, running through the woods.” —– JENN SHELTON

Skins (US Version)

MTV defines the new show SKINS as:

“…a wild ride through the lives of nine high school friends stumbling through the mine field of adolescence… and stepping on most of the mines as they go. Be it sex, drugs, the breadth of friendships or the depth of heartbreaks, SKINS is an emotional mosh-pit that slams through the insanity of teenage years.

The kids of SKINS will crush hearts and burn brain cells, while fearlessly confronting every obstacle head on… or slightly off.”

Skins (US version) will be available in MTV USA on January 2011.

Those Who Run Fast

In the Chihuahua region, Mexico, there is a tribe called Tarahumara or Raramuri. It means “runners on foot” or “those who run fast” in their native language.

Documents show that there are only less than 70,000 Raramuris. I encounter about them when I read Born To Run. They were featured there. They are famous to run long distance because of the rough canyons which they live. 100miles running is no sweat for them.

Long distance running is essentially for communication and intervillage transportation.
